  Actually to me the photos of the brit troops are not really abuse ,a cover man holding his rifle to the head of a prisoner while he is being processed is not illegal and the level of force used is directly related to the level of resistance, what is abuse however is urinating on the man.

  People in the U.S want to be very careful about throwing accusations of Brit troops not being charged , the list of occasions where u.s troops and pilots have done the wrong thing and only been reprimanded or not charged at all is extensive and so there is noone accusing me of bias i am not a brit.

  we keep hearing the phrase "enemy combatants" which seems to be a new invention to mean people fighting on or near the battlefield but not part of the army.. these are baaaaaad people, we are told (how dare they defend their homes and countries god damn it!)..

  they can be tortured, imprisoned without notification or trial and generally not treated very well.

  the legalities of this are in serious doubt.. what then of the numerous "enemy combatants" in iraq at them moment?

  No ,contractors are not constrained by the geneva convention but they are not allowed to just randomly shoot at people ,however they do have the right to return fire if fired upon

  awhile ago when i heard that prince had joined the borg immeadiately i thought "man, what a waste of talent" and yes i do think that musically prince is very talented.

  anyway, it got me thinking about how many of us wasted our time, money and effort in jw-ville.

  No, they made me what i am today,taught me to speak to people and educate them. Now i am in the airforce and a weapons instructor and i owe it all to the ministry school, how ironic is that.

  I maintain military aircraft which are converted passenger aircraft and you would not beleive how rigourus the checking and testing is before each and every flight and the airlines are no different. It would have to be a freak set of circumstances to bring a large multi engine aircraft to grief.
